Topic tags/keywords: delta rockwell vintage parts 698800 12 collet

Hi ALL, I am new here and am searching for something specific. Delta once made a 1/2” Collett that was used on their large routers and many shaper models. My particular shaper is a 43-431x. The part # I seek is 698800. None of the standard go to sites have it. Does anyone know of a machinist who makes these types of things?
Looking Forward, Eric

Have you checked out e-replacement.com?

I don’t see it on e-replacement parts.

Hi all, just a note to tell you I found a used one listed under the part # 18051. Walter at Delta told me that before that part was 698800, it was 18051 and then before it was that, it was 1343413. Same part, three different part numbers over the years. I found it at All American Tool in Fort Lauderdale. Literally 17 minutes from my shop! $22.62 plus tax used! I removed the 1/4 collet that was currently in the spindle on the shaper and my new/used $26.62 1/2 collet screwed right into its place.
Happy guy me…

WOW, you found someone at the current new Delta who not only answered the phone, but had information on machines they don’t support. You are charmed!
