Topic tags/keywords: z-chair zchair z chair selig design drawings measurements chair dimensions

Hello there :) I only just joined this forum so sorry if I make any mistakes

I was wanting to build a mid century Z chair by Poul Jensen but there is hardly any information on the exact dimensions, and the tiny bit of information that’s out there is very conflicting. I’ve managed to make a fairly accurate drawing(see below) that get’s the shape right but I’m not so convinced about the measurements. now my question is if anyone who has built one of these before or perhaps even owns an original Selig chair could confirm if my measurements are accurate :)

it would help me out a lot I can’t wait to start this project

kind regards

heya! thank you for your reply! I’ve stumbled upon these drawings before as they’re the most detailed however these are rather of a look a like copy than the original :)

Ross Leidy did a blog on one of these recently – don’t know if you have seen it. Might be of some use.

You could also try sending him a message.
