Hello!
Im extremely new to wood working and this was my first project which im proud to complete :).
Im trying to figure out how to make this look more “finished”. Should add maybe trim molding around the edges? I want to keep it simple but make it a little more finished and nicer. Let me know your opinion!

Ignore the cord in the back, im going to cover this with a cord cover :).

Thank
you!!

Maybe some molding. Raised molding around the top may help keep items from wondering off during the spin cycle. You can also add a finished top or countertop. A recessed cabinet on top with sliding doors for soap and such. Lots of possibilities.

It looked crooked. Now I see it’s a laundry surround….

Great job! That’s a nifty first project. I find it incredibly satisfying to build functional things for my own home. You’ll get to enjoy that feeling of pride every day you look at it!

Can you take some close ups of the exposed edges? I am thinking some iron on edge banding in white may be the easiest thing to round it out.
