I’m curious about other peoples experience with SCM. I ordered at minimax fs30c and took deliver in early dec. I picked it up at the fedex terminal at their recommendation. At delivery, significant damage to the crate was immediately noted and documented . I contacted them immediately and after took the unit home at their advice for closer inspection. Significant damage was noted and they recommended replacing the machine. As this was immediately before/during the holidays, I was patient and expected some delay. That being said, I’ve made a couple calls weekly since the new year and I’ve been completely ghosted for about 3 weeks, excepting Sam Blasco. He advised being a squeaky wheel to make sure it was taking care off. I’m a bit worried as no one seems to be hearing the squeaky wheel. I have a smashed crate i the middle of my garage and no new machine allocated to me.

Best,

Chris

I was following another post here some time back about shipping damage on an SCM machine. As I recall, the OP eventually got the parts to repair it, but it was a long dragged out battle. I hope he sees this and chimes in.

I was able to find the thread to which I referred, check it out. A;east I think it was the one I was remembering…maybe it was the one over at Woodnet.

I’ve seen similar stories to yours certainly.

With some of these companies they don’t ship them from Europe until the get orders so expecting them to have a given machine in stock is perhaps asking too much.

Have your say...
