Question I have been looking at many reviews on-line and it is crazy! Looking probably for a 14” saw that I can do some re-sawing. Probably around $1,500 range. I currently have a Delta 28-276 that I purchased 15 or so years ago when I had less time. It does not really do what I would like the saw to do now. Really would appreciate any suggestions anyone would have. Thanks -- Gene, Michigan |

You don’t have to spend quite that much unless you are doing some big resaw work. The Rikon and Laguna are both a little more than a thousand. Can regularly get a 10% sale price with these two. There are a lot of threads here discussing the many saws available |

I would suggest the Laguna 14-12. |

I purchased a Rikon 10-326 a bit over a year ago. I use it professionally… Although, I am not firing it up every day, it is getting a good bit of use! I would say I use it three out of five days and it has held up, not lost adjustment, stood up to everything I have put to it…. I would happily recommend it. The few laguna tools I’ve used have been really good tools as well. I certainly wouldn’t turn anyone away from one of those either. I waited until WoodCraft had a 15% off Rikon sale, then pounced…. -- John F. SoCal transplant, chewer uppper of good wood |

I’m really enjoying my Powermatic 14”. It was money well spent. I got it when Wood craft had it on sale with free shipping. |
