I’m looking to see if folks on here could help with ideas on what to do to finish this.

https://www.flickr.com/gp/[email protected]/363Q45

This was existing but was black so we painted it white, however we removed the section in the corner because it wrapped around. We would like to finish the top of the existing cabinet column with something and then add to the right of it as well with something. Any ideas on what to do here is much appreciated!

Having a hard time with what to do because of the big rounded edges.

As far as the rounded edges, if you work from just where they stop, would it leave you enough depth to make worthwhile shelves and such?

For example, you could use Kregg pocket holes and screws to run a vertical piece about 1-1/2” wide for shelves or cabinets and go from there. Since the screws would be on the back side, no one would see them.

If the right side was square (90), I don’t think anyone would give it a second look.

Have your say...
