With my oldest in Merchant Marine Academy for the past two years and my youngest about to graduate High School I refurbed the shuttle I made for them 9 years ago. Took off cockpit as planned and added 4 feet to the length. Now I have a 12 ft outside storage rack for various supplies, covered even. Inside little changed except removal of the table and chairs to allow for a plywood rack.
Not the nice looking place space it once was but it stores the concrete mixer and some plywood so it will do.
That shuttle was pretty cool. How much did the kids use it? I mean, first thing I did when I bought my house was to build a tree fort for our kids, cause every kid needs a tree fort--and they used it like once. Lol.

I had my kids once a month and during good weather they would be out in it or around it using is as a backdrop quite often.
