Topic tags/keywords: cordless nailer porter cable 18g brad

Seeking intelligence about a misbehaving 20V Porter Cable cordless 18g brad nailer. Pulling the trigger has one of three results: shoots a brad to correct depth; sounds good but dents wood and no brad; wheezes like and old man and no brad — need I say — at the end it almost sounds like it sighs.

The manual says if it “stalls,” you should try changing the battery. Stalls? How define ‘stalls’ for a nailer? Drop out of the sky? Rolls to the curb?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
