A good friend’s old Delta drum sander belt-drive motor speed controller died.

Renovo parts says no longer available

Anyone have a good source for such stuff?

Got a drum sander that he could cannibalize?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

A part number and photo would be very helpful. I needed a speed control for an old Performex. I found one on e-bay for about $135.00. After looking very closely at the circuit board on the speed control I saw the initials KBVC and some numbers. It ended up that KB Electronics was the manufacture and I was able to buy it directly from them for about $30. This was last year, but the sander was probably ten or more years old.

This is the website of the company where I placed the order . galco 800-575-5562. This switch is in stock now for $40.

I’ve repaired these before and if you are handy w/electronics you can save some bucks, but 4wood’s resourcefulness is truly a bargain considering the Performax replacement part can only be bought as a hole unit (box w/belt drive motor) at $300
