After my recent debacle with Lee Valley Tools, two of my Canadian woodworking buddies volunteered to drive to Lee Valley in Saskatoon to get the Optical Center Punch I so desired.

I couldn’t in good conscience let Andre drive 12 hours one way, so I declined, but then James Dobson of Grail Woodworks in Saskatoon, a LumberJocks member I had never met before, offered to go get it for me since he lives 10 minutes from their store.

Well, I received it today and I could not be more pleased!

So a big shout out for my newest Canadian woodworking buddy!

Thank You James!

There are many great people on this site and I’m glad to be part of it. Good to see a member go out of his way for another.
