Hi all,
I have an old Bosch model 060 1 905 234. It takes a collet # 3600499500. Bosch no longer supports or has parts for my router. I hate to throw it away but I need it to function. Any leads or if you have a collet for this router, please contact me.
Thanks for your attention and to the many great posts on this site.

That part number shows up as a 1/4" collet (and not available). Anyway, I did find some on line places that I have not heard of that showed some in stock. I'm not linking them because they might be, well, unreliable, but you could search the part number and maybe find one on e bay or such.

You're title says "desperately" needed, so I'll offer something I didn't mention earlier because it may cost. Elaire Corp sells after market collets for the more popular makes of routers, including Bosch. I don't think they have a stock one for your router, but they do make custom ones. It might be worth a call if you are desperate. Their products are top notch, I have several of them to fit odd size bit shanks.

Hi Jack, you are correct. The number I reference is from the base as the tag on the router has been fairly destroyed (prior to my ownership). What numbers I could decipher is the xxxx 905 234. I did use the numbers on the base to try to determine its full model number. I don't actually know if it is a 1604 base or not. The model number on the base is 3 605 702 600? base.

Sadly, I found on ebay the collet I needed. I bought it and the USPS has had it at their North Carolina Regional Distribution center since early July….from past experience, that means they lost it but the tracking number is still in the system.

When you say you have a 439 model, are you saying the collet for the 439 will work with mine?

" I have tried Eclaire but without success "

They told you they couldn't make one ?

I find that very surprising given my dealings with them. That you didn't see what you want on their website doesn't surprise me in the least. Fred told you as much when he suggested them.

You need to file a claim with ebay to get your money back. Yesterday !
