Today I made a measuring wheel. It’s a very old tool used to measure curved surfaces that a regular rule can’t. It’s a quick project and can be made simply or ‘dressed up’.

Thanks for the video. I’ve generally heard them referred to as travellers, in the context of coopers and wheelwrights?

You can also go digital, and dispense with the need to work it out with the straight edge. Of course at around 35 x the cost probably.
