Topic tags/keywords: craftsman orion steel city 152221140 throatplate delta table saw question tablesaw

I recently bought a Craftsman 152221140 table saw. This saw was made by Orion/ Steel City who are out of business.

Does anyone know of any available throatplate that fits this saw?

The previous owner thought some Delta throatplates will fit.

My research showed that two former Delta engineers founded Steel City/ Orion, so the Delta connection seems plausible.

I believe I found the answer at

I believe the Leecraft DL1U is what I need.

Make your own out of 1/2” plywood. I help a friend of mine make throat plates. You just need to rout where the tabs are.

I use the leecraft plates on my Ridgid r4512.
They work great. And I can get both zero clearance, and dado plates.
