Hi,
I am looking for help with my Powermatic P60 1983 jointer. I am trying to raise outfeed table as it is below cutter head, but locking screw seems to be stuck – I can’t turn it.
Adjustment arm doesn’t move either. I am out of ideas, would appreciate any help.

Thanks!

Oil will break it loose. Might try PB blaster, but just motor oil will do it if you can get into the right place. Try a thin weight oil. When you do get a tiny bit of movement, just rock it back and forth rather than trying to force a lot of movement at once. If you could find a container the thing would sit in, you could fill with used motor oil which will break it loose quickly. Small parts hanging on a wire in a bucket of oil will break loose in just a day or 2. Patience will help you on this project.
