Well, the shelix head new seems to be about $450. And the mobile stand around $150. That could be a great deal if you can figure out what’s wrong with it. Could still be an okay deal if you also find a working 735 that could use the stand and shelix head.

/there is a circuit breaker near the switch that could need reset. and there is one or two interlock switches to make sure the cutterhead cover and other covers are in place before it will start also. it could possible something thatg simple keeping it from running.

So he said he would take $300 but believes it may be the armature that needs replacement. With the stand and shelix head, plus original cutter head, is this worth it? Thanks!

buy it,you got nothing to lose except a good deal.worst case you scrap the planer and still have a cutter head and stand.

Seems like I remember a YouTube video where someone had to bypass a one of the safety interlock switches to make sure the top cover is on. He was like I would never run it with this off but I should probably get it replaced later anyway. I think there may be three of these switches. I say grab it and see whats up with it.
