Topic tags/keywords: fence table saw tablesaw

Wanted to get some opinions on 2 fence upgrades I’m considering for my table saw. I’m stuck between the Vega U26 and Shop Fox W1716. Both seem like good upgrades for a job site saw. I’d like some people reviews if they have either or used them. Or just general experience with table saw fences. If there’s other options I’m open to it too. Not until in VSC fence FYI. Price range is $300

Thanks in advance

I have the Shop Fox “T” style fence on my Grizz G0444Z. It has proven itself for over 10 years. It is the Aluma Classic. Fully adjustable, and quite accurate. I’d buy it again.

Long time Vega proponent here. Dollar for Dollar by far the best fence out there, and always a worthwhile investment if you plan to keep your saw. If it’s an older saw (pre riving knives) I also think very highly of the Shark Guard saw guards. Sharks are still being made on a regular basis. I’m not so sure based on what you see available from Amazon on the Vega’s though. Maybe they just sell out of all they get immediately. That is encouraging for them if so.

I have a Delta fence and have been happy with it.
