I just got a PM from Shandi2312 and she wants to be my lover along with 126 of you guys. The only thing I can think to do is block it probably isn’t even of the opposite sex

Hi Dick. I got a note from this scammer on my Profile but when I went to see it, it was gone. Maybe Cricket is ahead of Shandi2312. I hope this scammer is gone!

cheers, Jim

All you need to do is report it. The spammer is already gone.

I didn’t report it because there were 126 posts by them and we were scolded once for too many reports about scammers – I was guessing that several had reported it -

I find it interesting about the email scams we get, not just on here but in general…..they mature with us….when I was younger I got mail order bride stuff, then I got ladies wanting “friendship”, then as I aged I got ED products, and now I get burial expense insurance!!! What exactly are they telling me?

It is interesting about the aging thing – I don’t fool with the email scammers but if they call me I’ll tie ‘em up for as long as they’ll listen.
Had one the other day was gonna give me a rebate on my electric bill, I just got as excited as all get out and was giggling and asking if it was cash or a check and please hurry because my phone is about to be turned off etc etc etc
they finally just hung up on me

You will never be scolded for reporting. We only ask that if you see a spammer that you only report one of their spam posts rather than all 126 of them. (smiles)

I stopped reading long enough to shut my mouth, after falling out of my chair after reading the first part. :-0

Then you typed about blocking her/him/it Wheeeew…...

I was gonna say TMI, and Mamma doesn’t want me on sites like that.

IOW, thanks for the laugh…

Dick, I cannot remember the last time I got a nuisance call from a living breathing soul, sheesh I might buy dry ground in South Florida. All I ever get anymore are the freeking robot dialers. Heck they don’t care if you cuss them greatly, just dead air with a recorded message.Well, only if the envelope is prepaid, and that is getting rare.

I do the Andy Rooney thing with SPAM mail though. I keep it until I get enough, and send letter A to Company B, with notes hoping they find it interesting, and so on until everyone has someone else’s spam bomb. Well, only if the envelope is prepaid postage, and that is getting rare.

never thought about sending spam to spammers with a spammer retrun address.

What really aggravates me recently is that so many of the charity organizations are sending an envelope full of address labels with a stamped return envelope for your donation.
I refuse to send them any money if that’s how they are spending the money that somebody else sent them.
When I donate (and I do) I can afford a stamp to mail it to them. Being a disabled vet, you can guess where my donations go. Plus Danny’s hospital get’s my attention -

oh the free address label thing has been going on for years but i love when they send me a dime, wow i feel lucky.most of those charities spend so much on overhead what their raising the money for gets very little so i dont donate to those.
