Topic tags/keywords: question

I really have hard time finding the drive belt for my saw. I moved so many times in the last ten years that I lost that original belt… I used a link belt; I know that is not the type of belt that I should use; but with this COVID time, having some time to take care of my tools, I want to get the right belt. A trip at NAPA didn’t help. The original belt was a serpentine belt with six groves, not a V belt (I think). J type of 3/32 spacing.
Am I right or wrong? I don’t have the original belt and I just “guesstimate”. If I want to buy a belt today, April 2020…. what belt should I get? Please, I need help!

As far as I can tell, it’s a 417J6
(41.7” X 6 ribs – measure distance between pulleys to make sure)
Ridgid P/N: 816439-3

Available all over – Ereplacementparts, Amazon, etc…

Cheers,
Brad
