There is one for sale for $75 on my local CL. It’s a 6inch jointer. Looks pretty decent minus a wood stand instead of the original metal one. If anyone has one what are your thoughts? Can u still buy replacement knives for them?

$75.00 is not a bad buy and you can get new blades to fit it. $50.00 would be a better price if you can get them down.

I found some blades but after searching amazon and my email I realize that I have no idea where I got them. Good thing I bought two sets. I am pretty sure I google searched my model # and found them.

I’ve had one of those for several years – paid $75 because the motor didn’t run. Took it apart, couldn’t find anything wrong, put it back together and it’s been running ever since. It’s small but a really solid machine. Six inch x 1/8 blades are easy to find, you can even get carbide blades that will fit – and there are shelix heads for it.

I asked him if he’d take less. He said no. I don’t blame him since there was a small 4inch jointer on Craigslist a few weeks back for a $100. In my area they don’t come up for sale often and usually are on the higher side

Any idea on how much the blades will run? The ones on it are suppose to b fine but I don’t wanna buy it just to find out new blades cost as much as the machine

That’s not a good jointer because it has a fixed outfeed table.
The knife gib is held only by 2 socket head cap screws. It’s a really poor unsafe design.
I had one for years before the internet. It eventually threw the knives and broke out a piece of the table.
Don’t buy it. Ever.

Good luck

Knifes for that jointer are nothing special 6×3/4×1/8 inch thick.
