Topic tags/keywords: colorado denver hardwood supplier

Hello All,
I’m new to just north of Denver. I used to live near a lumber mill in Maryland and was spoiled by price and selection. I’m looking for recommendations near Denver, or north to Boulder or Ft. Collins. Hardwood is a priority, but also cabinet grade Baltic birch plywood is sometimes a necessity. All suggestions based on personal knowledge are welcome.

Welcome to the area. Honestly for a city the size of Denver I’ve found the quality/selection at a lot of stores around here suck. With that said though, Austin Hardwoods is fantastic for pretty much everything. Nice people, decent prices, and a hell of a selection.

Even if you’re not in the market for slabs, it’s also worth checking out CS Woods. Family run business with an amazing selection of mostly live edge slabs but they’ve got a bunch of everything. I could spend days in that store.

I would avoid Front Range Lumber company in Lakewood like the plague. People are dicks and you’re made to feel like an inconvenience as a customer.

Hope this helps!

Besides Austin you might try Paxton Lumber, 4837 Jackson Street
Denver, CO 80216 Local: 303-399-6810
