Or you can make your own with a spot welder from harbor freight and some 26 guage steel duct. Then seal with paint in duct sealer. 5” x 5” x 4” tap y.

You might check with KenCraft as well: https://www.kencraftcompany.com/products/dust-collector-fittings-2/

Try your local HVAC supply house. If they dont have a 8×8x4 . They wiill likely have a 8×8x8 and a 8×4 reducer.

Often overlooked. Sometimes in stock, but most of the bigger places have at least a guy who can fabricate if not a few guys, and for the most part much cheaper per item than what I see posted on here from “Dust Colllection suppliers” who I believe operate at about 700% over cost.

I got my 6 wyes from The Sheet Metal Kid. They are well made and arrived quickly and undamaged.

They are pretty easy to make even without a spot welder. Just cut the needed hole (egg shaped) in the 8” duct and then insert the 4” duct, mark the meeting point and cut the 4” piece to that mark and make 1/2” tabs all around t the place where the two meet. Bend Every other one inside and outside. Then seal with duct sealer as shown in the sawdust 35 post post. I have made all the wyes I needed for my 6” metal system.
