Topic tags/keywords: jointer question

Is this a decent jointer for $200??

6” Jointer with stand motor base

This is all I could find online
Mark 1 was a Taiwan made machinery brand that was imported and sold in your area by Tool Town. They were later rebranded Foremost and sold up until about 2 years ago. They are quite well made, the bandsaw and jointer were particularly nice.

For two hundred, how wrong could it be, and it’ll be gone by tomorrow night.

I have one with extra knives I would let go for 100 here in Ohio, different maker, but motor info almost identical, 6” 3 knife cutterhead, clean, runs great.

What Seattle is only about 2 days, well yeah of hard driving, but jeesh, a hunnert bux is a hunnert bux

LOL

Prices vary so much, where you are that could be a great deal.

I don’t see any rust and it looks like the infeed and outfeed tables are both adjustable. For $200 I say go for it, you can likely sell it for the same when it is time to upgrade.
