Congrats to the kids from Wahoo, and always to their teacher for providing us with pics of their work. Cutting boards seem to be the recent subject, and there are some fine looking endgrain boards there to see.

Thanks for keeping what we love alive for the next generation as well.

You’re right – some fine looking boards and end grain to boot

Just went back and looked again – just how many are there in that wood shop class.

I wondered about the number of kids too Dick. I imagine there is more than one class, maybe even several per grade level. Seems this year like a LOT of them are participating in posting their work.

Of course in this computer age of ours maybe that is a part of the plan, get them in shop making stuff, and online showing it, a 2 fer kinda class maybe. Computer Woodworking 101. I don’t think that knowing how to do either is going to set anyone back.

I didn’t post any. The Yahoo kids all posted pics with their submissions on the project pages though. Lots of pics.

My bad Bob. Yahoo just jumped in my mind, but you are correct.

I doubled back while I still could and changed the first post.

Thanks.

Nice.

Do you think they get extra credit for posting on Lumber Jocks? :-)
