Please help find plans for this SunBurst Bench, make build suggestion and timber species suggestions.
Hands are starting to hurt again.
Trying to get the holiday cobwebs out of me head and keep me hands busy.

Planning on having it on my front veranda.
Exposed to Melbourne, Australia weather.
South of the Equator.
Facing west (evening sun).

I’ve already designed it in Sketchup.
Any proportional corrections would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone built this already or seen build instruction for this in a mag or online?
I’ve looked for hours n hours over the last few days.

I seen this on pinterest. I like it, but didn’t like the voids in the slats on the ends. Eliminating the voids would improve the look.

Seems you have done the Lions share of the breakdown by already drawing it in SU. Pretty much what is left is deciding what dimensions you want it to be. For me that is always the worst part of a written plan, having someone else decide what size fits me the best.

I’ll go away..

Was looking for plans on how to build one myself.

Was hoping someone had already done all the hard work and published the methodology.

Probably. But at a ridiculous premium.
Was researching more native species to Aus.

Have your say...
