Okay y’all, I am getting weary of needing to post this reminder. In this community, we treat all members with respect at all times. Unless you are a community manager of the site, you do not tell members how to post. If you have an issue with their post or project, you do not correct or berate them for doing something wrong. You contact me privately if it is a serious issue. Keep in mind that we don’t always know much about the person behind the avatar. It could be an older person that is intimidated by using a computer and finally decided to give it ago. It may also be a young student that was scared to death to post for the first time and finally found the courage to do so. Some of our members are facing serious challenges in their lives right now, we never know what is going on behind the scenes. Give folks the benefit of the doubt and simply be kind. Respect For Others If you are not able to discuss a topic respectfully then you need to remove yourself from the topic. If you are unable to discuss a topic with a specific member then you need to choose to ignore that member or take the discussion off the boards. If you are unable to do either of these things, I will help you to do so. -- LumberJocks.com Community Manager |

Thank you for the reminder Cricket. I am grateful for this site and you!! I read a similar post on another site; Blessings of a Merry Christmas and Joyful New Year to you and my LJ Community. -- Rick - I know I am not perfect, but I will keep pressing on toward the goal of becoming all I am called to be. |

Thank you Cricket. May your 3 questions be my guide. I am one of your dinosaurs that cannot post pics and do not post replys very often. I am, however, trying to learn how to do these things. I am eighty and have reached the state of “irrelevance” where no one considers your opinion, no one thinks you can do anything, and store clerks and waitresses refer to you as honey or sweetie. Be assured, no one will suffer personal barbs from me. -- Mike, Massachusetts |

You will NEVER be irrelevant. We have so much to learn from everyone. I bet you have a ton of amazing stores you could share with us. -- LumberJocks.com Community Manager |

What is amusing is the number of instigators and self proclaimed experts, maybe we were looking at different comments? I only enter discussion if they are Political Correct! -- Lifting one end of the plank. |

It’s very sad that we keep needing this conversation. I appreciate all that you do trying to control the angry and negative people. Happy Holidays to everyone. -- Nature created it, I just assemble it. |
