Just a note to let you know that Charles is retiring I know all of his friends would want to wish him well.
Charles will no longer have new shows on his website but will have previously filmed shows will still available for the members of his online students, Charles great Blotch control will also still be available, Hi will also have an open house where he will be selling his equipment and a great supply of wood. on December 28th and 29th

I wish Charles all the best he has been a great friend and mentor to me and countless others, besides being a master woodworker he is an expert on finishing beyond that he is one the most caring and giving persons I’ve to know.
I hope he has a wonderful retirement and can catch up on all those missed days of fishing

Just saw something saying he lost a Female near to him. Wife possibly? Charles has had a good long run, he’s Norm level to those who know him, he just never had national TV behind his work. He sure has put out some seriously good work though.

I for one hope Charles enjoys his retirement immensely. We will miss his helpful tips and ideas but he deserves to enjoy his life too. I wish him the best.

+1 on a1Jim’s comments. Charles’ willingness to share his finishing knowledge has upped the quality of my woodworking 100%. He answered my e-mails and spent 20 minutes with me on the phone about a year ago discussing finishing. May he have a long and healthy retirement. Thanks Charles.

If you haven’t heard Charles has passed away and Jeff Fleisher has started a Go Fund Me for Charles Family to help pay the large Hospital bills that Charles had due to his extended stay in the hospital. I’m asking anyone Charles has helped to please donate to Charles Gofundme.
thanks
