Topic tags/keywords: delta saw restoration 1214 tilt trunnion

Hi all, I’m bringing an old Delta 12”/14” TS back to life, and the company I purchased from installed a dust collection well….duct that bolted beneath the blade. To keep the blade from tilting into the stationary ductwork, they tapped a hole in the rear trunnion bracket to prevent the operator from tilting the blade (photo 1). I ran a screwdriver through the factory mounting hole, so that when I removed the bracket, the motor assembly wouldn’t tilt itself off (photo 2). Here’s my question: what all parts do I need to buy to restore the rear trunnion bracket so that it mounts correctly to the cabinet again? Is it just a bolt, bushing, and a nut? Is it the same part number as it would be for a 10” or 12” saw? My guess is that it’s a brass bushing, but it doesn’t look like a nut ever rode on the outside arc where I would think it rotated? I rebuilt a 10” unisaw a few years back, but this is one of those parts that you don’t pay much attention to until you need it. Many thanks!
