Topic tags/keywords: super dust deputy sdr 35 fernco dust collection

I am in the process of building a small 2 stage system using 4” SDR and a Super Dust Deputy. I found that a Fernco 1059-44 works perfectly to fit a 4” SDR fitting to the 5” SDD inlet. Fits like a glove.

I’ve read a lot of posts full of people who have had trouble figuring out ways to adapt the 5-inch super Dust Deputy port to a more common in 6 inch or 4 inch duct. For me, using 4 in SDR pipe, this was a perfect solution.

As you can also see from the photo, A 6-inch fitting fits the discharge port pretty well. It was a bit loose at first, but a few wraps of duct tape fixed that.

Thank you for posting that. I’ve got a Dust Deputy I’m about to set up in the garage for my son in law to use and I’d been looking for a solution.

That is exactly what I did too.

I wrapped the SDD side with tape to make sure I didn’t have any leaks.
