Hi,

I am looking for a source for hinges and catches shown below for small boxes. I usually use a supplier in Canada but he is out of stock of some items at the moment.

Thanks

Steve

These are in the U.K. All have decent quality. Canada being an english colony, perhaps you dont have outrageous import taxes there? Prokraft is my go-to supplier.

Thanks for the tip! Chrome strap stop hinges and they aren’t 40 bucks!

I have a very similar problem where I live. Most stores or suppliers cater to farmers and ranchers. Hardly anything for woodworkers. I do my best to make do with the leftovers!

Did you look at Brusso? Very high quality.

Rockler will have some as well if ordering from them won’t be too much of trouble

Thanks.

I usually get from smallboxhardware but they are the ones out of stock of some of the items. Have checked Lee Valley, Rockler already.

D. Lawless seems to be more for furniture and cabinets than small boxes. Bear Wood has some but not the particular hinge or clasp that I am looking for.

Amazon has some assortments which include the hinge, clasp and screw but reviews are not great and in many instances customers bought it for the screws and not the hinges or clasps!

Never thought that it would be so far to find these!!
