I have a 12” Craftsman Band saw. Model number #137224320. I turned it on the other day for the first time in a while. When I turned it on the piece that protects the blade from the wheel feel apart. I’ve been looking for a replacement part for it but all I have seen is they don’t make that part anymore. My question is, is there anything I can do to use it. ThE saw runs good still I don’t have any other problems with it. Any information will be helpful.

Thanks Nate

I would not run it without the tire on it. It will tear up the wheel and not do the blade any good either

Here is a pair of urethane tires for $32 on E bay for it”

Thanks for the help Jim. What I want to try and make is band saw boxes. What size blades are best for them?
