Topic tags/keywords: question planer jointer hammer a3 41

I’m looking at purchasing a Hammer A3 41, but thought it wise to look at used ones before I pull the trigger on a new one.

Is anyone out there looking at letting theirs move on to a new home?

Are you in the DFW area? Felder’s in-house show is coming up in about 10 days.

Not sure about other locations.

Ya, I’m talking with them about getting a new machine. But here, I’m looking to see if there are any used ones out there in need a new home.

I will be moving in the beginning of next year, and sell my A 31. I am in the bay area. Not sure if that helps…

“all locations”? When I looked at their website (via link above) I couldn’t find any location in the US. Is there a dealer like woodcraft that carries this unit in the US?

Sorry, DrTebi, I’m in Indiana, and SF is a little too long of a drive. Thanks for the mention though.

ControlFrek, No, there are no dealers. They have several showrooms across the us. The machines are built and shipped in Austria, I believe. They have a used tool portion to their site, but these units go fast. I’ve never caught one. The resell value is pretty good on them, but picking up a used one, in good condition, that’s been through a factory restore would be cheaper.

There is a Felder Owners Group on Groups.io

https://groups.io/g/felderownersgroup

You might ask there. I think you will have to join first to post.
