Joyce Peck asked me to pass this on.

DeLayne passed away Oct 14, from complications of Chemo. This was 5 weeks after he was diagnosed with T Cell Lymphoma, the most aggressive type. He went in peace and grace.

Even though I never met him face to face we formed a friendship both on Lumberjocks and off I for one will miss him dearly.

Sad news, thanks for passing it on. I liked his work, and some of his threads just cracked me up, he had some real woodworking talent, and a good funny bone. Such a good combination.

always sad here when a talented member of our forum leaves this earth but good the suffering ends.oldnovice you should try and get him added to our memorial, so few that leave here get remembered. i think his wife would like that.

Lets hope Pottz’s comment gets heeded but I am not holding my breath.
