Topic tags/keywords: chrome browser scripts page errors question

When someone posts a link into a forum topic for example, I typically right click on it and select “open in new tab” rather than move off the LJ page I am currently viewing. (I am using the Chrome browser.) I do this because I often close the tab and forget to hit the back button, especially if I navigate from the inital link to other links on the new page. For the last 2 days, when I try to open a link in a new tab, Norton gives me this warning

Anyone else seeing that? It doesn’t happen when I just click on the link and navigate away from LJ so I suspect that it is Norton being overzealous but I suppose it could be that LJ has changed the way they structure their link redirects with redirect.viglink.com so that they look odd when you try to open in a new tab. Note that I also tried to simply copy and paste the link into the browser address box and get the same warning.

BTW, Cricket, I for one would like it if clicking on posted links would open automatically in a new tab rather than navigating away from LJ.

I have also seen that happen, not for a while though. I was wondering that the problem was and just figured it was Chrome being silly.
