Personally I like to have my jointer sit a little higher. I find that if it's at eye level without me having to lean over a bit, it's easier for me to feed the wood across it without applying any downward pressure at all. It's also easier to feed it through evenly when you stand behind the fence where it can block your view.
I also religously wear cotton gloves and a long sleeve unbuttoned shirt around any spinning machinery. Oh, and I buy all my power tools at the grocery store.
Thanks Rich. I needed a giggle this afternoon ;-))
Well, I think Ken pretty much nailed them all with his refined sense of humor.
He is looking at somethin, but I am not sure what, sure is focused though. But wait, the blade isnt spinning. Machine is not plugged in, doh. The photoshoot P.A. needs to be fired because she should have at least thrown some wood chips around about.
That has to be the crapiest piece of crap I have ever seen; anyone who buys it is just as dumb as a bucket of sand.
I will have to admit to purchasing some light duty squeeze clamps and some chisels at Aldis in the past and they both still survive and see regular duty in my shop. I'm gonna draw the line at a powered jointer/planer combo though.
well im always for a long sleeved shirt,i live in socal so it's a staple, but im missing a tie,no gentleman woodworker is without one.and yes kenny your correct about machine height, way too low for me,ya know the older ya get the less bending we want,he needs too raise it some more.looks good over all though!
ps-youd be surprised what you can get at the markey these days-LOL
pss-i also like like how the 3 yr warranty is "free".
I think it's a cute little jointer.
If it just a little smaller I'd put one on my key chain.
I could use little jointer like that to square up my finger nails at the doctors office while I'm waiting.
Hopefully I could get my big toe under that silly euro guard.
As for marketing- Ist impressions, regarding the product and the model (male/female) or vice versa. IMO is this the product that I want?
Not for me- since I am in the American market place and I started to purchase my tools from Sears to Norm Abrams to Tommy Mac, not that Euro guy all decked out.

Call me a weirdo, but the combo jointer/planer machine caught my attention?
After some research, learned what happens when Steel City USA (closed in 2015), and IVT Swiss ask a bunch of Chinese Mfg to build cheap bench top jointer/planer; You have a power tool without a big name, made by way too many mfg.

LOL,
Just need to know how and where to look. Helps that I spent 30 years sourcing/installing various types of machinery outside USA. ;-)
Honestly, It took me less than 3 minutes to find the links and information. Took longer to type the bloody post, than find the information. Curiosity is dangerous thing for those that let it loose.
Bozone….didn't he have a kid's TV show….something about a clown?
