I stopped by an antique shop today. Rummaged through stuff and found this interesting folding handle draw knife. Saw the name and patent date on it and thought I'd pick it up for $35. Its pretty sharp already. I googled it and.came up with pics and.the actual.patent. So cool.
Glad you snagged it, AND got the patent information to go with it. Advertisements and patents always make an really cool item even better! My grandfather had one of these on display with his "old time" tools, but I never knew what happened to it. I'da grabbed it if I'd had the chance.
I have one like that, but it is well used and worn. Yours is in really nice shape. They are definitely a fun tool to use.
