funny you should say that, Rob . . . . .
I was hurt much, much worse than that driver and almost killed
by my stupid table saw fiasco.
he walked away with only a few sore spots on his body.
I spent 7 days in the friggin hospital !!
life sure is a quirk, huh

I don’t think my saw will go fast enough.

Having been in a head on collision 33 years ago, I agree I’ll stick with my table saw, Thank You. Very rarely do I get any littel “Boo Boos” in the Workshop, although I once cut the shit outta my left hand with a cheese plane in the kitchen while cutting some off to make a grilled cheese sammitch.
I BREIFLY had one of those $100 Royobi POS plastic “Table saws”. Used out while working on a shed in the back yard. While ripping, it began to shoot some of the smaller pieces back across the yard like arrows. I hope the new owner enjoyed it, cause I got rid of the SOB VERY soon after that incident.

I had a kick back a few months ago that made a mess out of my right arm. Laid back a nice chunk of skin. I went to the urgent care, but it didn’t have to be stitched on, just cleaned up and laid back on with a bandage. I don’t even have a scar from this one. Weird. Gotta watch out for u-tube. I ended up watching some more (non-fatal) car crashes and then some Somalian pirates getting caught by surprise. Ghastly! Left that to the death porn crowd to watch.

If that was the red boat one I saw that too!... definite overkill that’s for sure. Navy sure loves wasting ammo!

I think it may finally send a message not to mess with the tankers, but as desperate as life is there, I guess they have only their lives to lose. I think it was a red speedboat.
