Hello everyone new guy here names Kyle I’m from western Washington State, I’ve been wood working on and off for a few years I look forward to seeing your guys projects and having good lively discussions.
A couple months ago I scored 25 or so pieces of rough cut hazelnut slabs for $30 for all of them, grabbed them up because I’d never seen milled hazelnut before, I plan on doing some live edge and poured colored resin tabletops and some shelves among other possible fun projects when I can.

thick latex or oil-based enamel will work. Just get something on those ends to block quick loss of moisture.

Welcome!

I’m thinking a couple of smaller live edge tables with colored resin rivers and maybe some shelves and regular tables when I can get my shop organized lol
