Topic tags/keywords: resource question logs modern

I found it fascinating the way this starts, how it progresses and grows so fast.

It’s light at the CULVERT Initially but watch it GROW! I don’t think those people on the Highway had any idea what was coming!

As you would expect, the Culvert begins to fill and I’m thinking “Those guys on the road better get the Hell out of there or else!

Near the end watch the Culvert and the water at the Top, and it’s just starting to OVERFLOW.

Hope Ya”ll Enjoy! Ain’t MOTHER NATURE full of surprises?

BEST WISHES TO ALL LJ MEMBERS!

This dam removal right after that is pretty spectacular, too.

When hiking mountain canyons you always have to beware of a sudden fast wind coming down the canyon and get to high ground immediately. The wind is just ahead of a wall of water from a storm that can be 50 miles away!!

Cheers, Jim

Water usually wins.

That one idgit in the one Richard posted was almost a Darwin award winner. One of those big logs woulda flumed up, instead of trying to ride the pipe, she/he woulda been SPLAT.

Nothing like the power of water the damage that it can do.
