A big storm blew threw northern Wisconsin and we lost around a 100 trees at our cabin three being bass trees all about 8 to 9 feet around. I know that guys use it for carving . my question is is it worth having it milled and if so what dimensions should i have it milled to

If you look on Etsy or eBay, you’ll probably find the answer to that question.

I’ve seen basswood carving blanks anywhere from 3/4” stock to 6×6” or bigger.

But you’ll probably need to have it dried too.
