Topic tags/keywords: plane question resource

Hey guys, been a member since 2016 but I guess this is my first post.

Anyhow, I’m working on an Ohio Tool Company type study on (metallic planes).
Looking for metallic Ohio Tool Co examples.

Looking for a few block planes 09 5/8, 015 5/8, 016, 017, 018, 019, 075, 067

I’m also looking for a “No 325” bench plane. I have all the other 32x planes except for the 325.

Feel free to post other examples of bench planes, block planes or specialty planes. Or you can message me or email me.

Also, if you have questions about your Ohio plane I’ll try to answer as best I can. I pretty much have the type study together but I guess I need to get it all organized and what not.
Here’s a few pics of what I’ve been up to.

I always marvel when I see collections of non Stanley tools. Makes me feel I don’t hunt hard enough, or I live on the Stanley side of the street. I just hardly ever see an example, especially of Ohio tool. It’s weird. I see tons of Dayton branded tools, but can’t remember Ohio tool stuff. I would think living so close I would run across them.

Nice collection. Thanks for posting.

A very interesting collection. Please give some thought to making the information more widely accessible, such as online. The table display will be seen by very few.

You can check out the site in my signature. I’ll have information there and a more in depth look with the book.

I would love to be done with this already but I’ve added probably three types in the last several months… Some examples I think I will just bury in the back yard and pretend they don’t exist!

That’s why I ended up with a second edition. It doesn’t seem to ever stop.
