I love brevity but you might use a few more words, ;) I don’t know if layering will help or not. In my own experience, boards warp when left on the counter with moisture underneath. The moisture is trapped and as the top dries, the bottom swells. Keeping both sides clean and dry and standing the boards up to dry so both sides are exposed to the air works for me. You can rip & flip to make quartersawn panels which should be more stable but you still need to control moisture or they will still warp. Lastly, you can use a film finish to limit moisture penetration.
