You want the double locking that locks roll AND swivel for a router table. Home Depot and Lowes have some decent casters. You will probably be paying 8-10 each for them anyway – I would go with the Kreg. Best caster out there IMO.

Try Harbor Freight (https://www.harborfreight.com/search?q=casters). They have very good casters at good prices. I have used their casters even on my 800 lb sliding table saw. I have casters on most of my machines and I have found locking casters are unnecessary as the weight of the machines is sufficient to avoid moving when in use. If you find the machine moving on the floor when using you are putting WAY too much pressure and doing something wrong!

yea i’m starting to think you are right. I love Kreg products but somethings just don’t make sense for the price.

I have a harbor freight right down the street so i might swing by and see what they got.

Great recommendation!

I bought these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y49D2J2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They work great. I think I got them for $8 or something like that.

what ever wheels you go with i highly recommend polyurethane wheels, ive tried many and they roll and hold up the best, and the bigger they are the easier they roll.

Harbor Freight doesn’t carry Double locking casters, so no point in going there. I did a quick search and finding double locking 3” swivel casters are somewhat hard to find. Powertec makes some but it’s only $3 cheaper than the used Kreg ones. BTW, there are Used Kreg casters for $42 on amazon right now; just look for used from your link.
