I recently received a few hundred board feet of Birdseye maple and walnut but I got a few boards of lumber that I have no clue what it is. It’s feels quite dense and for the length it’s quite heavy. Any ideas? Thanks for any help!

Without pictures, it looks like imaginary wood?
These are sites I use when I need to figure out wood type:

Best Luck.

Sorry I thought I had attached the image but obviously I didn’t do it correctly.

To me it looks like cherry from a small tree or branch wood. Not very appealing:(

Could make some nice boxes if you wrap the grain around the corners
