As the post states, I live in SW CT and I am looking for a lightly used cabinet style saw. Voltage can be 110/220, I am looking to buy in the next few weeks, once I sell a motorcycle I have in my garage, I will be purchasing the saw, whether new, or if I can find one before then, I will jump on it. Thank you in advance!
Edit: thank you all for the help thus far! I have sent a bunch of emails and texts regarding the saws you guys posted. I have no idea how my filters blocked some of these, I actually uninstalled my CL app and reinstalled. Many more showing up now. Maybe I'll find a great deal before I take the plunge and buy new. This is hands down one of the best online communities I have ever been a part of! I have lurked for years and only have just started reaching out for help, wish I had done this sooner!
I don't recall seeing a 3 HP 115 Volt before!! i doubted it in the description, but the motor plate bore it out. 32 amps is a bit of juice-think i'll stick with the 230 Volt!!! Definitely looks like some good saws to look at in that area.

Jrock - are we hitting the mark at all? Seems like there are a lot of decent options in the vintage iron category
I'm pretty sure I've seen a PM66 in Farmington on facebook marketplace and there is a guy in Weston who appears to do rebuilds/restore work on older machines. He doesn't have any table saws listed at the moment and, in my humble opinion his asking prices can be a bit high, but he does appear to do good work. If you want an old iron machine that's already restored I suspect he's always got something he's working on, just may not have it listed. https://newyork.craigslist.org/search/sss?userid=74564807
I may have found one. https://hartford.craigslist.org/tls/d/east-granby-rockwell-unisaw/6905992684.html
He sent me a video of saw running, no vibrations, he states 600 firm. It's about an hours drive, so I'd like to know what you all think about that price? 600 is quite a bit cheaper than a new saw, and from my research, getting this wired up for 220, I would likely never outgrow this saw for my needs. Thanks in advance!
Been listed 9 days already, and its not sold at that 'fair' price?
Either:
OWWm rule #5 will happen and you will miss it: http://www.owwm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=158513
or
it has something wrong?
Maybe noise/squeal, which means it needs $60 worth of new bearings plus $40 in belts, so it is worth only $450-500?
The old USA made Rockwell saws are bullet proof and easy to repair as long no cracks in cast iron.
Only challenge with them is lack of factory supplied dust collection and/or motor cover, and need to add microjig splitter or disappearing splitter.
With the upgraded $200 resale value long bies fence, $30 value mobile base, and actual Rockwell 3HP 1PH motor that is solid tool for fair price, IMHO. Decent Rockwell 3HP 1PH Unisaw will resell for $500 pretty fast in my area, so it's hard to lose money on this if condition is good.
Could argue that it's worth little less missing motor cover and with cheaper plastic crank handles, but based on condition and local CL supply, suspect it will sell soon.
Best Luck.
I'm in CT and, provided it's in proper functional shape w/ no big issues, I think that's a very fair price for our market.if I was looking for that type of saw I'd pay that much
As a point of comparison, I sold my 80s PM66 for $900 earlier in the year.

I texted him, he is always selling different older equipment. His prices are higher than average, but he seemed like a really nice guy. He doesn't have exactly what I am looking for as far as table saws, but I'm pretty sure I'll buy one of the jointers he is selling. Thank you for pointing him out to me.
My god I always forget how frustrating CL can be. I went and looked at a few this weekend, and one was in nice shape, but he was trying to include the entire workshop into the price. A fantastic deal, but so much equipment. Then I saw a unisaw right by my house, the fence was torn up, but otherwise looked fine. He did not have an outlet to turn it on, then drops the bomb that he wants 1100 for it. I didn't have the energy on a Sunday afternoon to tell him there are multiple other ones on CL for 600 range with upgraded fences. The search goes on!
Ok, thank you all so much for all the help and advice. I ended up buying a new grizzly, if I ever feel I outgrow it, I can always get this search up and running again. Thank you all for the help, and assistance!
