I was looking for a good restoration project. A wedding veil that “needs a little work” sounds like a great challenge. I have lots of EvapoRust, ScotchBrite pads, and time on my hands. Is there an off-the-shelf Rustoleum spray enamel color at the big box store that matches the veil, or will I need to go with a custom tint at Sherwin-Williams?

Look for me in the crowd. I will be the guy trying on the chaps who is stretched out in the over-sized leather recliner. Just give me a good shake if I happen to fall asleep.

Cash only, or do you take PayPal?

Buda, TX. It is the name of the town where the sale is/was located.

I once asked a woman from there how to correctly pronounce the towns’ name, and she responded “Buda as in beautiful”

I don’t know where you got that picture, but it is perfect! There is nothing like a hard day of cruising the garage sales to plum tucker a fella out. And that’s no bull.

Buda Texas was named after a woman who ran a general store. Her husband died and the locals called her “la viuda” which is spanish for the widow. That got anglicized into “Buda”.
That’s what I’ve heard at least.
