Finished this project and it was sprayed with white waterborne lacquer. I want to add a clear lacquer regular lacquer to add some hardness to the top. Will that be ok?

Are you talking about your white entertainment center?

If so, I would say probably not.

Do you know what product your considering? If it’s a regular laquer, it will yellow over the white.

+1 Dont use solvent lacquer over it, along with yellowing it may ruin the white wb. Can be overcoated with a wb lacquer or poly.

It is the white entertainment center. Definitely don’t want it to yellow. Poly will work?

To be clear, it needs to be WATER BORN “poly” oil based product will yellow. But it won’t add hardness, the clear will pretty much be the same as the white (in terms of hardness). It will give you more build.
