So, I was very fortunate to find an 11 year young PM2000 in pretty good shape for $1700. Blew this months budget but what the hey. You only go around once, right? Son of a gun, wouldn't you know, next week there is a 2 year old PM 60HH for 1700. Negotiated to 1500. Well, we can always eat cereal and spam right? LOL..

Seriously, good buys or no? PM 2000 needs casters fixed. Don't know what the problem is yet, in the middle of setting up/ building out the 12X22 side of the RV building for the shop.

Mine work fine but I rarely use them. They only extend about 1/4-1/2 below the bottom of the casting. If your floor is uneven it will hang up.

Nice machines BTW, I have them both and they work well for me.

If at all possible, look at the bolts on the casters. They could be too long.

I just bought a bandsaw last week, and couldn't get it to my work area very easy as it kept hitting the surface of my brick walkway. I managed to raise the saw onto a couple blocks, removed the wheel platform, and removed flat washers from the attachment. Put all the bolts and lock washers back on, and cut the extended bolts off flush with the nuts…... It moves like it was intended to now. ............. Jerry (in Tucson)
