Another e-mail. I’ve not done this, and am on the fence as to if I even like it, but I have seen it more and more. If you want to flame finish your woodworking, this is a how to.

I’ve noticed that trend picking up steam lately. Finally a good use for borg red oak! I also just saw some new sho sugi ban product at Rockler the other day. Not sure its purpose, to get a more consistent burn?

Sho sugi ban is easy. Not my style, but to each their own.
Lots of posts already around here somewhere?

For those large project get one of these:
https://www.harborfreight.com/propane-torch-with-push-button-igniter-91037.html?_br_psugg_q=propane+torch
and keep the fire extinguisher close by.

Burn, baby, burn…... :-)
