I air dry a lot of lumber in a shed.

From time to time, I have issues with insect damage, specifically borers.

I’ve been using Sevin but I think I need something better.

What you all use and how often do you use it?

I live in the NE FL area.

That is a good product. I started to use Mineral oil, it evens the drying process as well.

Do you use the liquid at a 5:1 dilution?

Ash has a lot of borer problems. Have found if you spray the bark with tempo, it seems to kill the borers before they dig into the log. If you have powder post beetles, use the tim bor.

I ended up using Bora Care at a 4:1 dilution.

I sprayed it on fairly liberally using a pump up sprayer.

Did I do it correctly?
