I have a bunch of very similar off old Harbor freight grinders. Happy to send one to you. I keep them when my HF grinders break, therefore I have plenty…lol….PM with your address and I’ll get one off to you right away…..

The 5/8”-11 spindle nuts are pretty ubiquitous and different ones from several different manufacturers would likely work well.

You do know that someone will send you one and at the same time as you’re opening the envelope, you’ll spot your’s laying on the bench right in front of you, right? ;-)

Tony, I think I found your grinder nut under my bench. It really rolled a long way this time. ;-)

It did not fall on floor or would have found it even went through drawer 3 times ….did not take it out of shop …… A gremlin must have taken my nut from my drawer

Hmm, a gremlin taking your nut from you drawers? Seems like you would have noticed when that happened. Sorry, I couldn’t resist (and wanted to beat Kenny to the punch) :-)

More likely that your grinder has developed a nut allergy. Seems to be quite common these days.

Chrysler used a 1/2” left-hand thread on their lug nuts in the late 50’s-early 60’s, but only on the left side of the car. Any NAPA or similar would have them, but you might want to grind off the beveled side…. so you’d have to buy at least two of them.
